Summer Cup After 16 Rounds

It's all over bar the shouting!

Leslie Malcolm claimed victory in Round 15 of the Jacobs Summer Cup following a superb round of 78 which gave him a nett score of 62. His halves of 40 and 38 were also good enough to secure a well-deserved handicap reduction to 14. John O’Brien finished a distant second after his nett 67, but he did have the consolation of recording the lowest gross score of the day, a fine 74 which included a brace of birdies at the 6th and 14th holes. Lee Malcolm and John Nicolson shared third spot after carding rounds of nett 68. In the overall standings Nicolson holds a commanding 13-shot advantage over his nearest challenger, Lee Malcolm, with Fred Groves a further 2 shots behind.
